Pastor Terry McComb is a devoted Christian and passionate naturalist who finds inspiration in the beauty of God's creation. He has had several articles featured in Creation Illustrated Magazine, and is the co-author of The Family Life Nature Series featured under Resources. As a youth, he spent ten years working at youth camps, where he led nature education programs and personally taught about reptiles for six years. He also worked with primary and junior aged children at camp meetings for fifteen years.

Together with his wife Jean, Pastor Terry began his pastoral ministry in the Kentucky-Tennessee conference in 1964. Over the next 44 years, they served in various locations including Maryland, Wisconsin, Montana, and the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia. God blessed them with four sons, whom they homeschooled during some of their childhood years.

In 1981, the McCombs felt a desire to draw closer to their children and spend more time with them. They took a sabbatical leave from the ministry, sold many of their possessions, and moved to Polebridge, Montana. There, they lived on $3,000 a year earned income, and built a wilderness home debt-free. During this time, they experienced God's provision and intervention in their lives as they depended on Him to provide for their daily needs. It was also during this period that God opened the way for the publication of their first books.

During the past 14 years, they have shared nature seminars in churches across North America, as well as in Lithuania and Australia. They currently reside in Cherryville, BC and have four sons who are happily married and have five grandchildren.
